Whats been happening

I meet Julia from Colombia within my first 10 days here. We spent a lot of time together, went on dates, went to La Boca, stayed in San Telemo, searched for un Mate juntos y fuimos a Recoleta para un festival. Al  otro dia fui a la supermercado y encontré un hombre que tenia 70 años. Era un feriado (el dia del bandera) entonces la fila esaba muy larga. Halabamos en en supermercado y despues estaba caminado a la parada de colectivo y Georgio me dijo "Juntame por Cafe". Entonces tomamos cafe y hablamos sobre la vida. Espero encontrar Georgio de nuevo.

Hoy recibí un llamanda y me dí cuenta de que obtení el position en un comercial Quilmes. Fui a dos casting and ellos me eligiron. Voy a la filmacion esta llueves y proximo miercoles. Está fin de semana viajo Iguazú, estoy emotionado. Que mas...

Estoy muy feliz, tanto diversión! Me encanta aprendiendo español. Tomo mate todos los dias y muchas dias encontro porteños para intercambios. A fin de semana enconté Luis en Cafe Monserrat y Domingo encontré Denise (Negra) y su hermana en su departamento. Tomamos mate y hablamos en Ingles y Español.

Interesting insights I've obtained here:

• A lot of people had America because we are so imperialistic. This is even reflected in our movies which are at times grossly over the top patriotic in the world police way. (transformers 3, ironman, ...)
• There is a lot of tension between BA and the rest of the providences in Argentina, because BA won a war between BA and the rest of the providences and the leaders of BA raped and pileged their lands (more or less). Now the indiginous people are sometimes treated like second class in BA. 
• Argentinian TV is ridiculous. Extremly over the top with sound effects, fast moving cameras, and really low class humor and content. Lots of looking at beautiful women and men as pieces of meat (Showgame or whatever) with Mercelo the host and owner of the TV station. Mercelo is basically just a dick to everyone and hits on all the girls. No one really talks shit back to him because he is so powerful

Day to day I have been cooking most of my own food and doing a ton of studying.

Yo fui a Iguazú. Fue incredible. Cuando llegué a mi hostel ví algons señals que había insectos en la cama. Asi que yo encontré otro hotel y qudarme allí. Yo conocé algonas personas de reino unido. They were traveling though SA and were heading to BA next. I had a good chat with a lad from the UK. He was an atheiest and loved to talk about convraversial things. (Most other places discuss politics religion sex etc much more than in the states)

I did the Quilmes comerical

• Filmed at TGI Fridays
• Woke up at 3 AM and took a cab to palermo
• Bus to TGIs
• Meet Clinton Childs, Jason Weary, and english teacher living in Santiago Chile
• Fought over who got good makeup lady
• Told to be more perverted with our jokes "you know talk about the chicks big boobs or something"
• Went on a mate hunt with Jason and cute italian actriss
• Ate and talked about cultures and dating etc
• After watched the Japanese actors setting up their scene
• Went to Ave corrientes then la cathedral
• Went to a bar in palermo and hung out with the Japanese guys
• "T money" was funny because he would say things that he didn't really relize were rude (called clint fat etc)

James Valori arrived. It's great having a guy to pal around with here. We went out one of the first nights and went to a few bars. Met some guys we think were taking crack.Went to a boliche and met Sarah a half dutch have portugese girl who I found really interesting and cool. A few days later I went to the art museum in palermo with her. She has traveled a lot in her life and her dad is doing a trip around the world (in parts). She has lived in mozambique (the speak portugese), holand, portugal and visited china and many other countrys. We went to the mall afterwards and at fast food chorizo (they had steak and all).

Another night James and I met up with a girl he met through spanglish (eugenia) and another girl from spanglish rosalina. Another night we met up and I met her friend Mariana. Mariana is a lot older than me but the other day we hung out (Im not interested in her romantically) though shes cool and we went biking through BsAs and it was a lot of fun and good practice for mi castillano. Tomamos Mate y ella me dió una pastre.

Hoy es el dia de amigos entonces James, Danny, y yo vamos a ir a el bar de Hugo. Pero primero voy a tomar una clase de tango. Ahorra yo tomo clases dos veces por semana. Tomo un clase groupo y un individuale. Mi profesora Dina Edad es buenisimo.
